Namecheap's EasyWP hosting directly takes the domain as domain.com you don't have the option to add www with your domain.

So people see just domain.com in their browser compared to traditional http://www.domain.com do you think www brings more trust factor?

You use www or just domain.com or whatever tld?

I would say that main factor is the impression of the landing page/homepage. As of my experience, people don't focus whether url has www or not.

WWW doesn’t provide any SEO benefit. It’s a personal choice to keep it. I don’t prefer it on my sites.

Where can you see the www.domain.com now?
It's a DNS record that redirects www traffic to domain.com , so you (your visitors) can use www.domain.com or domain.com, just not sure where it would be displayed differently?

Honestly, never in my life I would have thought it would make any difference to people, and I don't remember when I had to type www.domain.com to access it

I don't use www but I think it looks better for most audiences.

Those commercials where they spell www made it like a jingle ingrained in people's minds.

I have to say that older people look for www, my mum and dad (both around 80 years old) always enter www for any site and have asked me if domain.com (for example) is genuine.

As far as what is perceived in the minds (and internal brain thoughts) of web (internet) users, www at the beginning brings a sense of confidence. Strange, but why ? Because do not forget that 99.99% of web (internet) users are still ignorant and illiterate about how the world wide web functions.

It's just my experience. I'm not sure about anything. You should configure your htaccess right tho - to have direct www queries redirected to https://xxx or vice versa
How to find htaaccess from php my admin? namecheap says I need to create www as subdomain by adding host records.

still? you say like it will change lol. in contrary most people now only know how to use things, without understanding how it works. and as tech grew more complex there will be less and less people understand it

I prefer without www. But that's just a personal preference.

The only thing that people count as a trust factor is the SSL certificate

EasyWP hosting from namecheap don't have option to access htaaccess file. They take domain without www.

Any other way to put www ?

It's more personal decision, for example I have 3 words domain and I wouldn't add www never, just because 3 words are enough premium for users :D
