Is Wordpress good to setup for selling course ?

No doubt that wordpress is a great platform for selling goods and digital products like ebooks and courses, etc. With its plugins and themes the possibilities are infinite.

However the most tricky part with self hosted ecommerce website is that it invites a lot of hassle managing and maintaining them. This includes sites security and speed, customer support, data management, backups, SEO and what not!

I had a very tough experience doing this few years ago with me being a seller with limited resources and funds.

So I would suggest to you that even if Wordpress is the best platform, do not rule out other readymade done-for-you platforms like Shopify and Wix, etc. for your need.
