Is what this girl is doing illegal?

ha! a few years ago one of scott rothstein's lackeys contacted me about his "investment project" that gave a 4-to-1 roi on only 3 months!

well, scotty is now sitting in jail (along with bernie madoff) and his helpers are getting a lot of unwanted attention.

this has got "ripoff" written all over it. but then again people who should know better fall for the 419 offers.

As she said she has done it lot many times using/abusing the bank's reversing the check facility, the bank must actually be a blind and noseless bank, so many daily reverses should set an alarm somewhere in the bank and get prompt attention to her misdoings imo!! The activity is not normal, and on daily basis, the bank should notice it and inquiry should be done for that many numbers of check reversals by a single person, a bank employee at that!

Anyway, if she says she has done this so many times, daily too, then she must already be the richest woman in the neighborhood at least. May be she is only trying to hook you as her first victim! lol.

Scam written all over it, imho -- and not just from her side! The bank authorities will definitely find you, and may be she is not even a bank employee and will do the vaishing act soon after. You can be the easier catch for the feds, imo. You decide whether to go ahead or not...

In that case too, I don't think the bank will reveal any of their findings outside their own circle (of police, law, managers). You'll never know the outcome of your email to the bank, and probably will only get a letter saying that they will look into the matter. No bank will tell the findings to outsiders who can make a NEWS out of it.

I guess, there are 1000001 such and similar scammy-looking incidents being reported to the banks and other financial institutions, all over the world, and -- daily! So for them there is nothing new in your story. Of course, don't expect any rewards in return of the story from banks. My adice, to you is to send the lady no future correspondenses of any kind... not even to ask for a date. jk

Definitely sounds like a scam. If you still believe in this, ask her to mail you from her official email address, which is very unlikely.
