Does anyone here use Weibo for marketing purposes? If yes,

what kind of content or niche performs best there?

Yes, I think Weibo is still worth testing if your target audience is in China. From my experience, entertainment, lifestyle, travel, fashion, and tech tend to perform well. The key is localizing the content rather than simply translating your existing posts.

is it worth using. yes - but there traffic stats are low

Not in my opinion, unless it's for the chinese market, then yes it's for sure worth it ; )

nope, i feel for monetize within mainland china is challenging - due to language, their finance control and the moneitization requriement. they've billions of people doing the exact same thing, unless you're able to do something drastically different

Yeah, I think it’s still worth trying if the right audience is there. Just don’t expect it to bring the same results as Instagram or TikTok.
