Is warning = infractions?

A couple of days back I received ''warning'' by one of the mod. I can see it says 3 warning points on my profile. Don't see infraction though. Is warning and infraction the same thing? Sorry, I am new here.

Yes it is the same thing.

You were spamming the forum hitting up all kinds of old threads to up your post count; that is not permitted.

BTW, you got one warning but I am sure I deleted no less than 10 of your posts that were bumping old threads so you could increase your post count.
