is twitter really finished?

i loved twitter, used to spend a lot of my free time there having fun conversations about everything in this world, not its just all elon, my whole timeline is full of elon musk and his lackeys, but you know we jave a simple solution for that right? just block Elon and problem solved right?
WRONG
after blocking elon i started to see SpaceX tweets everywhere even the new tiktok like short video thing is full of spaceX videos, well i guess then block spacex? problem solved???

it turns out there are hundreds of spacex fan account that post almost same video of a huge metal dildo flying in the air, i went around blocking every spacex tweet i saw on timeline muting words like spacex, nasa, spaceship
finally i can see tweets from people i used to interact.
finally?? problem solved??? happiness??? i fixed twitter??
haha just kidding now i have to block hundreds of tesla fanboys account coz my timeline is nothing but tesla drivers singing great elon saga
i had enough of this boys

I deleted my twitter account a few days back. It became so toxic that I couldn’t take it anymore. I would rather spend my time here trolling than being on twitter.

May be it will continue to be a great platform, but it’s dead for me.

Doesn't twitter also partially builds a profile from what you visited and potentially interested in?
Probably opening a few spacex related posts, likes, retweets ,follows & maybe even (other sites?) put OP in that lovely spot.

Twitter never worked for me ... I joined it like 10 years back I guess, but still I felt as if it was missing something. Today I have my own community platform, and whenever I open twitter I feel sad for millions of people who are stuck there ...

It has just remained a simple money making machine now !!

On a serious note: I don't think it's dead, but it's definitely changed. I hear the new verification badge carries a lot of weight, So take advantage of it while you can. Apparently, you can get posts in front of thousands of people just by upgrading. Make the money off of it while you can

Here is the solution: Delete ALL social platforms that are not related to your business. Nobody will do it cause people are weak and addicted, same way people won't stop eating sugar, processed food, or carbs even when the obesity rate is like 50% in the USA. Or stop watching porn even tho it is been proven to fuck up your brain and dopamine receptors.

Delete all distractions people, only way to survive in an age where social media is built with the help of neuroscientists whose only job is to hook you up as long as they can.
