I mean serious how much time you give twitter till it fall apart like myspace?
and whats the next big social media thing?maybe pheed?

Twitter is an entirely different type of platform to myspace and I can't imagine it going anywhere for a good while yet.

well what do you mean with good while yet?2,5,10years?

I don't know, social networking is unpredictable and the consumer is fickle.

Myspace died because something better arrived and everyone migrated very quickly - everyone is on Facebook because everyone is on Facebook.

I don't see someone making a better Twitter, it is a harder concept to usurp than Facebook, so I see it maintaining its position for a long time. Or until a unique new concept arrives.

Last time I heard that people migrating from facebook to twitter

#TV NEWS

Not dying for me though. I have like around 9k real followers on twitter. I use it for promoting my client's site and some other personal stuff. ;)

I hate "is x dying ?" posts. No, just the old methods die.

Just seen 'Keek' which looks quite interesting with the rise of smart phones and all...

But I highly doubt Twitters going anywhere

I hate Twitter, but unfortunately I don't see it dying any time soon. I think Pheed is likely to go soon though.

Every website eventually dies, but from its ashes, a new empire arises.

Nope, Twitter is alive and well. And for the record, Facebook killed myspace.

i hope not!

I just broke the 40k follower mark yesterday on my main account...

Cant see it going the way of bebo or myspace for a while yet. Folk like talking rubbish online, twitter is great for that

I could,t make any money with twitter but facebook works for me

Over 500 million users... growing everyday. It's a complete different social network when compared to Facebook or Myspace. Twitter isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

It's an extremely huge network.Facebook and Twitter are the most popular media sites for me and I don't think they will die anytime soon as I don't see any social media site better than these two.

Don't see Twitter dieing for at least 10 years. Even when something better arrives.
Look at classifieds. Craigslist and gumtree.
It's been 3 years since classifieds has been deemed dead by something 95% of webmasters.
Yet if you look at it you can clearly see the rest 5% still making some money there.
Same with twitter. It will have it's potential even when it's dead.
