Is Tumblr completely dead?

Not a bad place to get traffic from a account in any niche.

Many still use it for porn niche traffic.

Tumbs a good platform used heavy still.

I have never seen anyone talk dad about it free traffic.

Also the backlink not bad good da stats .

its ok not dead. just the bot users are gone. it still has value
 
I still use it to get some web 2.0s done. Some backlinks go on a long way. :)
 
Nowadays, I keep my Tumblr private so it can't be deleted. I don't really depend on Tumblr traffic; it's just used as a "tool" to queue up my Twitter accounts via IFTTT since it's a lot easier to use Tumblr's queue feature but Twitter doesn't support it natively. Also, if my twitter gets banned, I'll just create a new one and point IFTTT to the new Twitter and unleash my Tumblr queue onto that one.
 
No. it's not dead I think...
But they are on very bad path these days, instead of increasing their quality and level of service they are going the opposite way
 
I used to index 2nd tiers backlinks, otherwise I haven't found useful for marketing
 
Lots of marketing accounts compared to real users. Not a platform where you should put much effort
 
Too many people left the platform when it lost the adult content. I've noticed it myself.
