I'm looking for a lightweight wordpress theme for my wordpress blog and I've been wondering if this one is good enough speed wise.

Most should be fine if they are responsive and you add the free yoast seo plugin.
 
i would sat that as well use a seo plug in and look that its also good for mobile views and then you are good.

Seems fine to me but most themes will be fine for SEO. Most of the legwork when it comes to whether or not a theme will perform well will come from how you host it, what additional plugins you will use, and how you optimize it at the end of the day.

Will you use a CDN? Paying extra for really good hosting? Will you have procedures to make sure you optimize your media? Cache plugins? etc.

Pretty much any wordpress theme that you have that is responsive will work. Being SEO friendly will be your job. With plugins/content.
 
The theme is almost irrelevant.

It's what you do with it.

Content pages should be original, high quality, on topic and interlinked.

Tags, categories and author archives should be noindex no followed.

Get the yoast plugin, pick a responsive theme and get on with it: stop worrying about SEO themes.
 
I personally like mythemeshop right now. Any responsive theme should be fine for seo if you know how to optimize your content. Is just me like to choose light theme. :)
 
Yes, Wordpress themes are good for seo.
I think most of the websites are built using wordpress themes.
Select the theme which suits niche.
you can find both free and paid themes.
 
All themes can be SEO, depending on settings .. Use yoast SEO for wordpress, for Blogger you can PM me for script code;)
