Is this perpetual bot action good or bad?

I have this blog site with a lot of articles, resurrected from the WayBackMachine. I am not updating it because there are other things to do. Anyway, every other day there is a perpetual bot action. The site gets 50 bot visits like clockwork from:

Location: Fremont, Michigan, United States
ISP / IP Address: Google Proxy (74.125.217.77)
Resolution: 1600x1000
System: Mediapartners-Google

The graph of the visits looks as follows:





So, the question is whether this is good or bad, and can I use these bot visits for something useful. For example, accept paid guest posts or similar.

Deceiving to sell guest posts if you claim bot traffic as real visitors to potential advertisers.

I wouldn't dare claiming that this is real traffic. But it may be useful to get the links in the guest posts indexed faster.
