Is this keyword to competitive for a MNS - "maldives all inclusive". And why?

Whay would it take to rank for the keyword proving an EMD was available?

CPC : $1.90
no quotes - 4,830,000
quotes - 17,200

No. I would say it's at a competition level of medium. Why? The age for each domain is 0. It looks like there has been no on site SEO done. The title, tags, and matches are not matching the keyword. It seems they just sent backlinks to the domain and index them. Check their content next. It would take a little work, as does ranking for any keyword, but it would not be hard to rank for.

still can make cash with that

remove the keyword and post the results only, for your own safe

I am using Sepr Attacks Free

Thanks for advice.I revealed this keywords so I could get some suggestions about keyword competition.

I would actually like if someone registered .org domain which is available and ranked the damn thing.

Domain ages aren't all zero. There is expedia for example in Serps. The colum doesn't show domain age even I and you thought so.

Expedia being ranked speaks for itself. It's one of the top 1000 in Alexa rankings. Not to mention the commercials Lol. You won't outrank them.

Its all predominantly authority domains. .. Divide DA by 2 get their PA. .if it is above 30 for almost all the results, then you have lesser chance to outrank them. .I will never rule out a chance as anything is possible if you have the right on page & off page...

True. If the OP were to buy an expired domain, like lets say from expireddomains.net THe OP would have to make sure it's in the same niche or at least have a little resemblance to the keyword. Added content every day. Either bought an seo service, or did his own SEO to the domain for the keyword. Of course, the on site SEO for the newly bought expired domain must be targetted towards the keyword. I think OP could do it given the right motivation.

So it is a difficult keyword, because the first page is occupied with authority domains?

What is exactly GCDA?

I follow all guidelines from the forums, yet I do not think i would ever be eble for something that is more medium competitive, let alone it is highly competitive.

OP go for it set a budget and do everything it takes to rank.

I have a website that is on page 2 for a keyword in the finance niche and I thought I knew very little about SEO.

Remember for long term it is all about quality, for short term it is the opposite.

I would say that it's competitive because of those holiday websites in the top. I can hardly imagine you outranking Expedia, Tripadvisor and others. You can get into the lower part of top 10 though.

It's not the issue of EDM but the type of links you send to the site..

My best bet are:

Contextual Links
High PR
Relevance
Unique content
Low OBL

And you can rank first page in 30 to 60 days except the process takes long to complete due to finding high PR domains that ain't dud.

What is more importaint:

Title
Backlinks
Domain age?

For this keyword all top 10 domains are 10+ ages old

I want to learn keyword research and how to rank, not to skip the whole process. But I will try it sometime.

I'd say high competition - it's a seasonal keyword, so the monthly searches will go up for sure, as will the CPC.
