Is this fake or real !!

I've just thinked about it: why he want the account/buyers list? "Dear Iamtheman's customer, Iamtheman have decided to stop his activity and he've decided to start to work with us, so try our services".

Also IMO a gmail account is not credible if you could have a perkinscoie dot com email address... this is a no sense.

Lots of companies are starting to use gmail as their email mailbox provider so that's not an indicator of authenticity.

Emails can be easily forged/spoofed. You can check full email header by pressing on that little triangle on the right and then ''Show Original'' . Feel free to copy/paste full header here so we can look in to it.

Not true in this case: just go to the contact us page of Perkins Coie: all the emails are at perkinscoie dot com: that's why I've said that IMO this is a fake mail

1. Email instead of paper.
2. If you're outside the USA it doesn't matter.
3. I may be incorrect here, but since when was this a crime? Has there been legislation to make this illegal? If not, they can shut you're accounts down... and that's all.
4. The California u a laws apply to Cali. Businesses.
5. Federal law cited seems to have nothing to do with selling likes.
6. They want your domains... that require a court rule to transfer ownership.

Get a lawyer. Verify. Sue them for extortion.

I don't think haters or competitors will go to this extent, because impersonation is a bigger crime. If you are outside of the US, just ignore.. else Try to talk to them.. play the 'ignorant card', show them that you have taken down the service and will not anything in the future that would violate the TOS. If your income is solely reliant on this then opt for an offshore hosting, provide your services without a domain name.

Above all don't be scared.. these people feed on our fear.

Post the email header here, let us check or send via PM to someone you can trust.
If the email is real, I suggest to shut down immediately your service/s.
If is fake, then...competition sometime is hard ;)

Its real, How ever I am not going to send them any info

Yeah, they disable my Facebook account too

I never received a C&D letter but back when I was spamming instagram hard, I received a notice from whois privacy that someone requested my info and the next day my domain, personal facebook account and many instagram accounts were deleted.

that real deal man.... i would suggest to do decease your sites.

FUCK IT. I'M DONE. All of my FB accounts just went down.

I would assume it's real and take action accordingly.

EVERYTHING is gone dude - what a shitty night. I'm just going to go to bed now

Never came across such a thing before

They don't like the little guys stepping on their toes in this big monopoly game of theirs.

move your site to an offshore hosting and ignore these kind of stupid letters and keep on doing your business,

Doesn't seem very legit that they're using a Gmail account.. lol instead of their domain/company email.

I was thinking that its fake as they send from gmail. Its real or fake, does not matter. Now I know what I have to do.As its not possible to shutdown my business. Also they already disable my Facebook account and they showed me reason that i was created a Facebook apps which is violate their Policy.
