Is This A Normal Google Dance?!

quick update sites come back today back on page one little lower then before but i expect it to keep climbing as its still dancing abit

I recently had someone do an xrumer blast on my site, and I indexed 4k links in 1 day just to see what would happen. Google did not like this. Probably many of those xrumer links were done on russian porno sites also. Dropped 25 spots so far and still dropping. Gonna wait 2 more days then throw fresh content on the site and hope for the best.
 
google indexed 4k in one day? how big was the blast? and alot of the time i do "small blasts" my sites drop/dance and then come back so if i was you id just wait it out and if it dont come back in 3 weeks just order a strong link building package from somebody here but proberly was not a wise idea for that person to blast your site to alot of porno sites

Most xrumer blasters harvest hundreds of porno sites without realizing it. The blast was 5k. I decided to index 4k in one day just to see what will happen. I am just waiting a little bit to see what happens. Its a VERY competitive keyword. I was ranking 26 and today I am on 55. It took me 1 month of hard web 2.0 building and backlinking to get from 55 to 26, so now I just wait and hope for the best, and build more links soon. I didn't get sandboxed, so its a good chance I will come back stronger.
 
Strange thing has just happened - both of my sites (I use a similar backlink strategy for both of them) came back from the dance at the same moment, I checked five minutes ago - neither of them was in the top 10...I checked a minute ago and now one of them is 9th (was 8 before the dance) and the other one is 5 (was 8 before the dance)... any comments?
 
Beginning to wonder if G is starting to track the xrumer foot prints more carefully and if continued use will end up killing our ranks
 
What we really need ot look at is how many are wordpress sites or html sites? I think google is looking at link blast no matter if they are pinged or not. have 2 sites 1 wordpress and the other is html. I did a blast on both sites and my html is steady and no bouncing around BUT the wordpress is going through a dance. I think google is looking at this. To many Wordpress themes are moving to fast and i think that is catching google's eyes.

I really do not believe G makes any difference between HTML and WP. I have both abd both dropped.

I used to blast with xrumer and would like to know if anyone have agood guess if it is hurting or not, or why are all my (and as I see many fellows here) sites going to page #10, #20 or so?

I have some seo clients that had their sites in page one and now are at page #10, and the worst part is that I am afraid to sell my seo services, because I really do not know what to do.

Anyone can help me better understand what is going on ?

I dont want to jinx myself, but for the sake of information sharing among us all, my rankings have started to bounce back. I am slowly rising back to my original position. Less than a week after dropping 25~ spots, I have gained 10 positions back today.

I am not trying to bust your bubble or get your frustrated, but make sure your not getting personalized results from G, verify your rankings using scroogle.com and see what the results are.

I use 3 different web based rank checkers.

I am based in Canada, so I can't see Google.com results by default, I only see Google.ca results.

In addition, I don't search for my own website in Google and click it, I only search my keyword, so getting personalized results would be the same. I know how to track my ranking, but thanks for the tips for any new people reading the thread.

And I did jinx myself, it was only a temporary jump, back to the place I was this morning. But I have stopped falling any further down.

It's been exactly 7 days so hopefully it will change soon.
 
Google always keep searching for the quality.In every 36 days or 10 times a year it checks all websites.Accordingly the Page Rank is calculated.
