is there Edge ranking on Instagram

Hey guys, new to BHW after lurking around for about a week!

I have a question regarding a/the edge ranking algorithm, is there one that applies to instagram seeing as its owned by facebook, and there have been some discussion regarding them having one on the facebook platform?

Reason why Im asking is that my engagement rates are stable/decreasing even though my follower count continusly grows, I rarely do sponsored/paid shoutouts, and I post daily 1-4 pictures a day.

Im in the fitness niche, 40-70k followers somewhere, getting average 850-1000 likes the first 24hours, which is kinda the same numbers i had at 30k followers.

this leads me to belive that there might be some edgeranking algorithm, dictating the % of people who get instant exposure to the posted material... its just an idea, but have you guys experienced something similar?

Im gonna try to optimize and tweak a few things, that hopefully gives somewhat better engagement rates, altho is this phenomena something you encountered?

Hmm thats interesting, would like to know if theres more or just the two of us noticing this?

Something is clearly happening my engagement decreased too and is having ups and downs. Is there a solution? I'm still trying to figure it out.

Hmm interesting approach, one could argue that, but the question is if its worth having 3x100k or 1x300k account, I mean is it linear, or does it go flipp over in the long run?

Nontheless would like more input from more people, Im genuinly interested and concerned.
