Is there anyone offering Guaranteed SEO ranking?

We get it, nobody can guarantee #1 first page and so forth, but if an experienced SEO is offering its services and has been doing it for years and has a good track record, they wouldn't be afraid to do so because they've done it for every website. Others want the payment upfront and hope there will be some improvement...
The whole SEO indusry is screwed up where you have to pay in advance. Nowhere else it's common. For 90% of the jobs out there people are getting paid at the end of the month. Why is SEO any different?!

We've purchased a bunch of services for various sites from this forum and other seo forums/sites and let's just say only 10%-15 were good, the rest even though they claimed and were posting useless graphs(probably fake), they couldn't even rank keywords that weren't even 1/5 as popular as the graphs they were showing and the claims they were making. Or we had 3 sites where on the first month there were rank improvements( eg from page 5 to page 2 or 3) and then for 3 months after that there was either no improvements at all or even rank drops, where we were paying for it!! So, $1000s were lost on scammers.

Are there any SEO companies that can either guarantee improvements or where we pay for performance. If a website is climbing up every month, we would be happy to pay for that month.

1) There are over a 100 factors impacting SEO - many out of our control.
2) SEO Providers do not control Google. In fact, it's ILLEGAL for Google itself to manipulate with their rankings. They were recently fined $2.7 Billion dollars for doing so.

If somebody guarantees you rankings - I'd search for another provider.

No one can guarantee shit, anyone that does would be a fool, SEO is an ever changing game and because of that nothing is 100% guaranteed

You're the one responsible for getting your site to rank, especially if it's an affiliate site. Small businesses can have it a little different and may pay for guaranteed ranks but even then, what makes you think someone should take the responsibility of ranking your site and risk not getting paid when the job is done, and not instead just rank a similar site themselves and reap the benefits. Do your own research, and buy what's appropriate. No one's gonna do your job for you while you sit back.

The thing is, Google updates its algorhythms every so often, single update can cause drop in so many SERPs. I run a handful of websites myself (~30 in the same niche + many others) and once you find that working formula for one site, you realise that it does not work for the other websites.

Cry me a river. If your site is badly optimised crap, then nobody will rank you no matter what. There aren't and can't be any guarantees, because a lot of it comes down to luck plus responsibility of the client that he won't screw up. One of the reasons why I do not provide any SEO services is, because I wouldn't be able to handle this kind of crying if my stuff didn't work out.

Well, isn't THAT'S what real SEO is all about?? Optimizing the site and not just building links
Though you are wrong that the site that is not optimized can't be ranked. In one of the creative niches we follow, some sites are still in Flash, barely 1 or 2 years old, with almost no text and they are on page 1(ranked #1-5) and outrank dozens of really old sites with great content. All sites use SEOs and these just have better SEO companies. So, you are wrong

Well, I get what you are saying,but just because you've put in hours, doesn't mean much. Most SEOs these days work hard, just not what's needed. There are still 100s(even on this forum) who still offer 1000s of useless crappy links and automated blog commenting.
If you optimize the site/page and do link building then your rank should go up. I will never believe that you can do all the work for 2 months and build quality links and rank will not increase even a bit. That just makes no sense nor we've ever observed this. It may be just 1 spot movement,but it should move.

I get it, once you reach page 1 it becomes much harder and I am not talking about that. I am talking about having sites on page 4 or page at the beginning then after using an SEO ranking would get to the end of page 2 or page 3 in a month or so and after that not moving even a bit for 2-3 months. I just don't believe those SEOs did the work!

I am assuming you don't have a business? Those who do know that you can't run a brick and mortar business and do SEO/web design work. Almost no companies do that, unless they are tiny small businesses. It's not business owner responsibility to rank their site because you can't expect, say, an owner of a bakery to learn how to do web design and link building. Expecting that from them is nonsense. At the very least some small businesses/start ups may hire a web designer with knowledge of SEO to build the site and run it. We are in niches with business owners who are in their 50s who barely know how to use a web browser, lol.

No, you're wrong. Every site ranked in G doesn't use SEO companies. That's the assumption that SEOs that guarantee rankings rely on to get customers.

A doctor has been performing the same surgery for 20 years. He still doesn't guarantee that it'll work and the patient will come out fine.

You know why?

Bc 400 million things could go wrong before, during, or after surgery. Too many factors to count, and medicine is ever-changing.

Plus he can get his ass sued off for malpractice.

Since I was where you are I feel compelled to help you.

You are miles off with this, seo is not a game of $xxxx it's a game of $xxxxx. I see you posting for discounts on $400 packages save yourself the wasted time and money. This isn't going to help, in fact long term I'd bet it will do more bad than good.

On one of my projects at the moment I would expect the cost if I had contracted an agency to be around $30,000 or $40,000 right now (money spent + time + content + website).

Last week the traffic value hit $1200 on Ahrefs which is a pretty fair evaluation of it's current value after 6 months of hard work. Now I expect that to rise quickly soon but my points this. That is me putting my all into something I love, with all profits coming to my own pocket. No one will give you anything but work for your money unless you are paying big.

Here's the best advice you'll ever get.

If you want to earn money and generate leads from google spend two months getting a basic grasp of seo principals. Then you can contract an seo with proven results and ask for a clear breakdown of what you are getting for your money every week. If you understand seo then you are in control of your own destiny and you'll know if you are getting fair work for fair pay.

If you can't be bothered to do that, hire a consultant that you can trust which is another minefield if you know nothing.

Only CEO Sam, the big daddy, also known as bad boss can help you OP.

Stop wasting your time with SEO and just do keyword research on adwords for cheap keywords.
It's just like organic keyword research, it takes a little work, but there is plenty of opportunity if you know the niche.

You took a quote out of context...read the whole thing before making judgements. "every website" meant for the sites and niche described in the post and not all sites on google.
So, you are still wrong about your assumption.
