Is there any point in using Chat GPT Plus nowadays?

Yes, people are still using ChatGPT and still subscribe to their pro version, especially non-tech users; they even think that the only AI that exists is ChatGPT :D

Gemini basically killed my interest on ChatGPT a few days ago, when they launched Nano Banana, their new Image generator. ChatGPT was the king about image generation, now, not even that anymore. It's better about very specific things, like cartoonize photos, but in general, it's worse than Nano Banana.

For now, in my opinion, Gemini is the king overall. For some specific usages, there are free alternatives, I don't see any reason to keep paying for ChatGPT. Are you still paying for it?

I think it really depends on the workflow and what someone uses AI for daily. Every platform has improved a lot lately, and honestly the competition between ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and others is pushing all of them forward. Some models are better for coding, some for writing, and some for image generation.

I still see value in ChatGPT Plus for certain tasks because the interface, tools, and overall experience are still very solid for productivity. But I do agree that users now have more strong alternatives than before, so people are naturally comparing features instead of sticking to one platform only.
