Use Ahrefs Webmaster Tool, Unfortunately, It helps only for the website owner, Not for commercial purpose.
Is there any free version of ahrefs?

The Free version is limited in some of the functions, you cannot do like keyword research etc.

well you have three options here
1.) Use Ahrefs 7 day trial for 7$
2.) Use Ahrefs Webmasters Tool if you just want to get data about your site
3.) Search on Google for Group buy SEO tools you will find a lot of them offering one month access of Ahrefs, Semrush, etc. for 10$ something
Note: if you are going with any group buy service make sure they provide direct access on-site, or on a subdomain, many of them offer these services using custom chrome extension which may bring some security concerns

Use the $7 trial to do your initial research
Ahrefs trial... that's about $7 a week. Or group tools which are about and miss as some of the functions won't even work at all.
Or you can look for a tool (I don't know of any personally) that might incorporate ahrefs api and give you access to their database.
Ahrefs might seem expensieve but bare in mind there is comparable seo software out there that costs almost twice as much, to quite an exclusive one that costs a good 30k a year and that's just for a single user
Suddenly it won't seem so expensive.

Ahrefs lets you use one site for free. It's pretty decent.
