What is a good site for learning the way to do things by whitehat standards? I love the format around here and learn alot but also feel like since I only lurk on BHW im missing out on what alot of you actually do in a basic sense.

White hat links are a phantom.

All links acquired by paument are black... always have been always will be.

this is the most whitehat forum ive seen. there are sites like nulled, carding, hackforums and they have all the blackhat stuff

Too black for my taste.
Nevertheless, there are very good courses at Udemy and Linda's courses are pretty straight forward if you want to develop a professional skill in almost any possible way.
There is no ONE place that gathers all the knowledge.
That's why you need to ask the oracle where does it hides the tricks

Define whitehat please other than it being opposite to blackhat. Coz in the real sense, nothing is white without the black shade to it.

Thank you everyone for the replies! I am enjoying reading them.

well, I guess I'm just confused on what actually goes into creating a website (as its something I have very little experience in). I see alot of the guides around here and most of them aren't really providing "value" to the users of the site, especially the ones with content lockers... Most of them seem to be deceptive haha. That's fine and all, but if I'm going to invest my time and money into a project like this I kind of want to understand what it takes to do it right.

I'm fine with some blackhat tactics, but how could I possibly do it well if I don't know the basics or what my competition is up to? :D

Also, ty for the suggestion of the whitehat seo forum, idk why but I didn't notice that before. Ill check it out!

Would love to see someone run three sites, one using only whitehat, one using some blackhat and one going full blackhat
Admittedly, it would be a huge time investment but think it would be really quite interesting to see the long term results.
I kind of imagine full black would get lots of traffic straight away until G decides they're spam.

well said .. and spam is taken care of pretty quick .. think of b ab aji :)
good sellers , good forum in my opinion.

Most of the threads and methods shared here on BHW lately are whitehat only. Sometimes the name can be confusing.

Why not try stuff like youtube/ coursera/ lynda/ khan academy/ udemy/ basic google search?

Oh i definitely have. Youtube is affiliate link nightmare, I've been sucked into a few of those guides during my time and other than learning about their sales funnel and how they operate their marketing scheme, I didn't actually learn how to build a profitable website from any of those guides haha. I'm fine with paying for knowledge but all of these sites are full of regurgitated stuff that does or does not work and if I were to pay for it all I would be broke. WarriorForums comes to mind, that place is full of nonsense haha.

Its really hard to find info on online marketing & website building without someone trying to sell something to you.

What helped you all when you first started out? Any recommendations on guides or information that you think would be helpful to someone new to the industry (in terms of building websites)?

haha ok Thank you! Maybe I;ve been searching for something that is here all along and I just didn't realize it.

Well there is nothing called white hat or black hat, technically in an ideal world SEO should not exist.

There's plenty of free/paid courses and stuff out there teaching you online marketing or website building.

Let me know, what particularly do you want to learn? Marketing and website building are broad terms. Narrow it down to something that you wanna specialize.

OP weren't you into adult stuff before?

How did that fare out for you?
