This is a complicated one because once you change the content most of the people will left the channel but some will stay so you will loose half or a little more of viewers and followers, the adventage is that you do not have to go through the process to reach the requirements to monetize the channel, on the other hand a new channel you have to start from zero, compete with other people on that niche and still spect to reach a really good point and then apply to monetization, the only advantage here is skiping the monetization process and no starting from zero.
