As always, after their core updates there will be fluctuations for a few days and hoping it will not cause this much damage. All stupid sites are on the first page in some searches
They're irrelevant af. But last update's irrelevant results stayed like that for almost a month. Google is quick to mess everything up bit is slow to fix it.Have none of you ever seen a major update before?
It won't be staying like this, the results do need to be - ya know - relevant.

Maybe it's their new plan to increase revenues - fuck up the results so everyone has to payThey're irrelevant af. But last update's irrelevant results stayed like that for almost a month. Google is quick to mess everything up bit is slow to fix it.

My biggest fear is that one day Google decides it only wants big auth sites like New York Times, Apple, Amazon in their SERPs and throws us all out for good. And this "update" looks like it. I hope though this never happens and it's just a bug.Same, dropped over 50 target keywords from the top 3 but stuff is still bouncing all over up and down. Fingers crossed that this is just a bug rather than an actual permanent update.
I do get a lot of traffic from 2-10 because of the content quality.Relevance really doesn't matter. If 2-10 are not relevant, the basic consumer will never notice. All of us who have sites ranking 2-10 know that they do not get ANY traffic. You have to be number 1 to get traffic and even that is going away.
So, all Google has to show the average user is a decently relevant pick for number one and then the ads take over.
I guess it is a bit niche dependent then.I do get a lot of traffic from 2-10 because of the content quality.
