Is the messenger Dust safe?

I hear a lot of information about hacking of instant messengers and social networks. I became concerned about my safety and did my research. I found an interesting new anonymous messenger.
It's Dust messenger. I found some information about him.
The application was previously known as Dust. All conversations are highly encrypted, Dust doesn't store messages in persistent storage. You can set up messages for deletion immediately after the recipient reads them. Dust servers do not save messages sent between users of the system. Accordingly, after deleting such messages, they can neither be traced nor read again.
The application has disabled the ability to take screenshots of messages. It automatically detects and notifies you if someone makes a screenshot - this makes it one of the most secure messaging applications. In addition, Dust is also a social network: it allows you to subscribe, send and receive text messages, stickers, links, videos and more.
The project is a combination of ideas implemented in the WhatsApp and Snapchat services. Although most of all Dust resembles Snapchat. However, Dust provides a greater level of protection for transmitted data.

And I mention this because for the privacy minded people and the security concerned, usually an open source application is always preferred.

If you are trying to make a switch to different messaging app, you can have a look at two of the highly thought of: Signal and Wire. Both open source, security and privacy oriented and always reccomended among the people that are looking for solutions to escape data collection, to have complete control over their info and high paranoia level security. (They also have desktop variants as well, which I don't see for Dust)

Thanks for the detailed information. I read about the messenger Signal. It stores all the information on the server. I didn't like it. There is always the possibility of information leakage in this case.
I hear about messenger Wire first time. I just read information about him and immediately came across reviews of his poor work. I can't say that they are accurate. It's the first information that I came across. I'm just trying to do research. What do you know about this messenger? Have you tried using it?

It sounds good but what I don't like is the point that it erases all data in 24 hours.. It means it can't be used for work chats if I need some information to be available for some time.
Or it's possible to change the storage time?

I found some information. Information about setting this parameter was very vague. Some sources say that the information is deleted anyway, other sources say that you can set up the time of removal.

Then it's better not to risk using it.. I would probably choose something else. Thanks God encrypted messengers started to appear on the market. For example echat.io seems to be quite secured.
I don't know how to check the security and privacy really..

E-chat has its own wallet. I think hackers will be interested in hacking it first. Did you use it?

I believe that developers of such services think about its privacy. people will not lose their time and money on something that will fail.
I never heard any complaints about this messenger and believe in its safety.

I find scam projects every day. They become very much every day. People will not waste time just like that. They will do this for a project or for scam.

Well, if your so suspicious it will be hard for you to find something you will believe in. I'm here not to promote something, it's not about that and try to advice you something, but you don't want to believe.
Then check it on your own. Then you could find something that will suit you. Google will help you.

You offered E-chat. I want to know your experience. Did you use it personally or speak information from Google?
How can you advise what you haven't tried?

I believe that not so many messengers appear to e secured as the developers say.
Do you know that Dust creators have access to all your data?

If you use encrypted chats in Telegram or even WhatsApp, you can be sure of privacy.
Or you think it's all scam?

I'm sure that it is unsafe. These messengers have all our correspondence information. I try to find a way out of this situation.
Do you know something safe?

I think that all new relatively safe messengers are basically the same. This is all not store messages on servers after a while, for example.

Yes, I agree.
Recently I started to use Adamant, but I don't like it's user interface.
For me it's difficult to use, but I think it's the only one safe currently.
