Hi everyone. I am wondering if anyone has worked on Tech Support lead generation from organic seo. Some popular software which used to work earlier for lead generation include QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage.
Now, I am not talking about scamming people by impersonating to be the official tech support providers. I have worked with CPA, Accountants, Bookkeepers and Certified Experts.
Now, google and bing don't show organic results for keywords like QuickBooks Support Phone Number or Sage Support Phone Number. Google is also perma banning accounts which are using adwords for the same.

What would you recommend I should do to generate leads?

I haven't worked with tech support sales directly, but I've done plenty of work for businesses where tech support was a big deal.

In my case the region was very relevant so I ended up doing lots of local business SEO.

When the service is global, you're competing against the biggest companies with the biggest budgets, so that makes it extremely difficult to break through. Especially early on paying high ass CPC.

First thing: decide whether the region is relevant or not. If it is, then you'll be better off if you research local SEO for your region and attack from there.

There are plenty of Saas companies that would chew your leg off for decent tech support. Especially if you aren't based out of the third world. It is the number one complaint among indie founders, just go to the places where indie hackers gather and offer your services. Send me flowers after.

I had a GMB in USA which was recently suspended by google for god knows what reason. CPC is not possible via adwords as google is not allowing CPC on tech support which I want to rank for. It shows zero clicks for all keywords in the google keyword planner. I want to target USA first. Sometimes it gets so frustrating that I just quit for a couple of days. Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi Ourfella, I am from India and I understand that we are not the first choice when it comes to tech support. I don't want to generate pop-up calls or scam people impersonating to be someone that I am not. I want to generate leads for certified accountants and bookkeepers.

I think you are misunderstanding the term indie hacker, do a little bit of Googling. Apart from that your English seems to be good enough.

Thank you so much man for introducing me to Indie hackers. I am definitely going to give some time and learn more from them.

I think because your humor was released on indie label it is not well understood & accepted by the masses which dont get it. :)

The main thing is that Google is not allowing for CPC. How can we generate inbound calls?
