Is still there Keywords for newbies ???

Hi,

I'm really struggling with keyword research, i can't find an easy keyword to build a site arround, always there is competiton oterwise the keyword is not worth ranking coz of the lack of traffic

Is there a method to do keyword reseach and find some easy keywords ???

Try keywords with 3+ words to start with, it'll mean less competition, generally.

same here buddy, how many local exact monthly searches should I be looking at? for a complete newbie?

I am looking at like $5 a day if possible, just to start me off and build up to larger amounts.

It takes time to get the perfect one, try using market samurai, has a 15 day trial, made my job a lot easier.

There will always be keywords for all, as far as new topics keep coming along that is.

There are 10000.. of Keywords
but i'm talking about easy keywords, with some search but with less competiton
i don't see that there are millions of them !!

interesting, use google trend to see how your keyword is doing before use...

That is your very problem. You don't see the keywords. And I am sure you have never heard of that list I have given above.

Then your vocabulary must not be very big. There's hundreds and hundreds of niches out there, not to mention multiple mini niches for each of these niches. Perhaps several keywords for each mini niche.... you do the math...

yes, there are hundred of thousands if not millions of different keywords... what you need to do is find a niche (ideally something that interests you) and do keyword research. Depending on what you're monetization methods will be (ie adsense, amazon etc), will depend on what keywords you should target.

Pick a topic your interested in, and use all the keywords in that to set up your site and create an article on each keyword. In time, (if you are dedicated to you site and good content), your site will grow and rise up the rankings even amongst competitive keywords.

If you are willing to promote stuff that is NOT on Clickbank or Amazon or other platforms that have tons of affiliates to compete with then try this:

Go to Alexa
Click on Top Sites
Choose a category related to your niche (example: Health>>Weight loss)
Look for a site whose main focus in on providing content NOT selling products.
Look at the top queries (search phrases)
Find a product based search term
Congratulations you now have 1 buyer keyword.
Plug this search term into Google Keyword Tool and you will get related terms.

This should get you going.

I just took your username "nuker" as root keyword and did a search in G0ogle keyword tool. Found a couple of good keyword with exact match domain and good CPC!

this is no such thing as 'no competition' there will always be a website that is ranking for that keyword.. even if its not trying to. Go for a 4 word keyword that won't require much work. That will teach you how stuff works and what you need to do to rank. That move up in the same niche to a 3 word keyword etc...

BTW, you won't get far in anything with that kind of attitude.

If you can't find your keywords perhaps that niche is a little too advanced for you.
Try another niche.

Niche research + > Keyword research + > Domain Research > Monetization

Not; Monetization> Domain research > Keyword research > Niche research.
