Is Seo Dead? Google Gonna Die?

There is a real chance and a opportunity to split google's share of total searches. Microsoft is working with openai to "integrate" chatgpt with bing. If these happens successfully, the first thing can happen is end of googles domination of search traffic.
But will it happen? I don't know....

Bing = dog turds

Never gonna happen

Great opinions guys, but only the future knows for sure.

Yeah itll be as useful as Cortana on windows. Does anyone use this? Didnt think so. Chat gpt is a fad, itll linger around but the hype is already dead. It's a useful tool but it won't take over existing tools it's just an "additional" one.

The truth is we just dont know what will happen in few years. Its the best out there that has been unlished, open to public and what I see is pretty damn good!

I really think that ChatGPT will give superficial answers. What I mean by that is if you ask a question what is the fastest car in the world? It will give you a fine answer (albeit from 2021 anyway). But if you want to go deeper than that, I dont think chatgpt can give proper useful content

ChatGPT is able to accomplish some remarkable milestones such as "ChatGPT Is Passing the Tests Required for Medical Licenses and Business Degrees" <https://www.vice.com/en/article/akebwe/chatgpt-is-passing-the-tests-required-for-medical-licenses-and-business-degrees>

I think that Amara's law applies here: "We tend to overestimate the effect of a technology in the short run and underestimate the effect in the long run".

I don't think ChatGPT will completely replace Google, in part because it has a different purpose, but it can bite some of Google's marketshare for those that usually don't get past the top result.

It's going to be interesting to see the next rounds.

Ai is begin more and more SEO offpage backlinks and these things..., and people like us who work like SEO services, it will be hard...

It'll surely take some share of Google traffic but won't be able to dislodge it completely from its dominant position.
The reason is that Google brings you millions of results when you search any query and people generally visit the websites of more than one of those results.There is no such thing with chatGPT.
In short,people don't 100% believe a single source of information and Google provides them the opportunity to get information from multiple authority places with a single search.
