Personally if someone would treat me different for not having a degree I would probably make them feel inferior. Most people who try to make themselves feel better than you based off a preconceived notion have their own insecurities that they try to mask by making you feel insecure.
 
Necessary for some but not all, I know people that never went to school that earn more per year than those with degrees, if you can teach yourself a skillset and know how to network and be disciplined, you can take yourself quite far without a formal education.
 
What necessary for success is the ability to fast analyze, and the power of understanding how to meld and use systems together.

this applies to everything.

schools are the old fashioned way of trying to get you to this.
 
Yes , school is where you learn to adapt to societ, make your own or join existing community, how to increase your network etc basicly social skill.
if you mean for education than no there is more efective and usefull education exist online here.
well in my opinion social skill is the most important, as long humanity exist no matter what age. master this skill than you will suceed.

I would agree that those who want to go into medicine, engineering, or law should definitely get a degree.

When I mean school I mean more higher education. I understand the need to learn how to socially interact but seeing young people today and I am a young person, there is much less social skills being taught today.
 
First of all, how old are you?

Secondly, most of what you learn in school it's indeed useless, BUT all that knowledge helps the brain to create new connections - it's studied and confirmed by smarter people than us.

Thirdly, most successful people have some studies in their field - who says something else is lying.

And last but not least, Digital Marketing is used by a lot to justify that they don't need anything else and therefore, fuck school. All those stories claiming huge earnings from marketing, most of them are fake or you have to REALLY good to get there. You also need TIME. Lots of it.

SO.

If you feel that school is a waste of time, probably is. If you think that school can teach you something useful, it probably would.

it's not only young age, in every level, and stage you can use it to widen your social circle. at young you learn the basic. at high use it to widen your social circle. well if you mean does it necessary? than no. it's option.

Networking events imo widen your social circle better than school especially for business.
 
School good for you education is king .

100% school are worth going, we all learn about life .

getting older yes youtube study becomes more intresting the school because you're get direct study mitral ...

But school very important

Most bright people use both online and school to educate them .

The modern school system exists to turn you into a good, obedient worker.

It's not meant to educate you. It's meant to train you into a system of corporate employment.

Don't just learn for the sake of learning. It's not how the brain works.

Pick something you want to achieve, then figure out what you need to learn to do it, and keep learning until you get the think done. Repeat that.

Like as I'm learning AI, I am not doing A-Z learning everything. I started with my project, and tried to learn what I need to make it work. I ignore anything that doesn't help me with the actual project.
