Is profitable autoblogging still a thing here?

When you setup an autoblog with rss feeds do they not make your wordpress dashboard bloating up, hits more your webhosting servers and make your whole website slow down? And all these feeds are stored in the mysql database too I guess, which will cost you more resources of space then most mysql DB have only 1GB you need this when you posts a lot every day.

When you have 10k-15k posts on your website then you will exceed the 1GB and you need a bigger DB, I think most webhosting providers will not offer bigger DB's sizes.

It will take more efforts to make autoblogs success now because there are google updates frequently targetting these.

If you have other profitable tested methods working for you, then why waste time with things like autoblogging. It is better suited for individuals capable of developing required tools themselves. Otherwise, cost to start will be very high.
 
I think that auto-blogging is fine if you want to provide some content in the website for user-engagement purpose. If you want to rank better in organic results and more keyword ranked then creating unique content is recommend.
 
Yep, autoblogging is legal if you can change some things, content, format etc,etc...look at the big media news sites, or ok, at Buzzfeed they now have a down but they rise up again, because none of these big "republishing" sites got a google punishment.

By the way, I would not install rss importer plugins in wordpress.
