Is PPC dead? Please Help

How much are you spending per click with Facebook Ad. I use to think facebook is more expensive than Google adword because i spen 0.08 per click with Google Adword. So does it mean that one can get click with just 0.07cent from facebook ad. I was told to start with 0.8cent per click with facebook.
Please can anyone advice me on this.

I'm using facebook ads for $0.08 and get higher coversion rates than via Adwords. The main advantage of Facebook ads is that you can target your Ad to a more specific group of people of any gender, age, city and even intrests. Your add will click people that fit your offer the best.

google generates 90% of its revenue from ppc.
so if ppc dies, it's taking google along with it. :P

the only reason anyone would say ppc is dead is to get you to read their blog.

Thanks very much for that enlightment. I thought i need to spend up to $0.8 per click on facebook ad before i would start getting impression's. But with this, i will start a campaign on facebook as from tomorrow. But i believe some keywords are more expensive at facebook.

How do you get so cheap clicks in fb?

I just read a journal yesterday of a guy pulling 400-600 from ppc a day. Look alive to me

I myself am making a comfortable living from AdWords only, and now branching out to other PPC companies now I've nearly hit the bar with AdWords.

I spend about GBP0.05 per click, spending about GBP100 a day. (Sorry don't have a pound symbol on this keyboard ;))

So, out of these 2000 visits I get a 1% conversion rate, each conversion making me GBP20.00.

That's an average day, now I've got enough money in reserve I can start spreading to other PPC providers. I'm going to use Facebook next.

PPC is NOT dead, you just have to find something that works, and spend months perfecting it to be as profitable as possible.

Best of luck :)

Yep, ppc is alive and kicking. Just requires a bit more optimization and testing these days. Also when you get a a working adwords account - DON'T do anything to mess it up :)

How about lead generation. guys? I recently received an email from them stating that its my final warning and they will ban me if I won't comply to their LP guideliness.

I'm about to launch a site that is purely built for list building. I have second thoughts of using adwords since they state that;

I think that one is stating that you aren't allowed to use a lead capture page in adwords. Hope someone can shed some light on this one./

I'll give thanks + rep for someone who can truthfully answer this.

Hardly a PPC pro here, but that rule sounds pretty reasonable. I don't think you'll have a problem if you go down the traditional path of offering a free report/newsletter with good content and promote on the backend.

You'll have to know what you're doing to hide blackhat stuff from google, but a standard lead capture should be fine as long as you're providing some value.

I'm gearing up for the exactly the same thing at hte moment

What process is working for you? Obviously not expecting specifics, but are you direct linking? or Squeeze page then Redirect to offer and promote on the followups?

Some thing else?

Are you promoting affiliate offers or CPA?

Cheers :)

PPC will always work. You just have to target the right keywords. And the right keywords are very different for every niche.

Learn a lot about keyword research before you get into it. For example, if you are in the weight loss niche and spend thousands of Dollars on a "fat loss" keyword, you are almost guaranteed to lose money as "fat loss" is an information searcher's keyword.

Some long tail keyword like "xxx diet to lose weight reviews" however has the buyer in a state of mind where is he prepared to spend a few bucks. These are the people you want to target.

So, start learning all you can about keyword research. Even after learning a lot, you cannot expect a super performing campaign. It will take some experimenting to really stabilize a PPC campaign.

Get into it only if you are prepared to potentially lose about at least $300 without much returns and be able to write it off as R&D. You can however learn a lot from spending that $300.

PPC is huge, no way that they are going to be dead. but if you are new to PPC don't bid too high yet and in adwords pay attention to their quality scores. that's what I am learning so far.

Can somebody give a case study of a recent google adwords campaign they have done? I haven't used PPC yet so maybe you could leave out all the specifics and just give us what you invested in it and what kind of return you got for the day. Thanks, I think this would help out, idk. With people saying you should prepare to lose $300 dollars that doesn't sound to comforting, lol, although it might me an unfortunate reality. :( If you target only a few keywords that are buying keywords and only spend less than $50 a day can you make at least $125 a day? Damn my noobness, damn it to hell! :p

@white**********

I have a campaign thats been up for a month

daily spend : $ 10
daily earn : $ 20
---------------------
profit : $ 10

$10 x 30 = $300

so yes, it works and i earn about $300 a month. Doing nothing.
Im thinking of expending the daily budget to $30 then, ill earn about $900 a month

google wants landing pages with high quality content and no duplicate content no adsense or affiliate links

Adsense is not dead.

One of our PPC clients is seeing a 210% ROI on one of their campaigns ATM.

Its not dead. It can generate a lot of leads and sales but only if you know what you are doing. Take a look at PPC Formula 2.0 (which is here) to learn more about PPC marketing.
