I see so many threads of members getting affected by PayPal account closure and thus them moving to other forms of payment. Also we have crypto now where fees is much lower than PayPal. Will it affect the business of PayPal too much ?

No its not dying and no it has no effect. 9 out of 10 times people get their shit banned due to their own choices.
One example is members running smm panel. But these people are doing business on large scale. If people use alternative payment for this, those platforms will benefit.

Paypal is definitely not dying, and works great for majority of whitehat businesses as well as buyers. It's only when you try to receive money frequently without business account, proper incorporation and tax documents etc, you can get in trouble.
Now, if you try to game them, trouble starts.

I don't think so. Despite the high fees, buyer prefers to pay through Paypal only.

Yeah, but sellers hate them and they are willing to use an alternative. You will not see a single physical product e-commerce owner in my country that is happy with Paypal. Their fees are abusive.

Crypto is way too hard for most people still; it isn't hard but takes one day of concentration to learn and that is about 11 hours and 55 minutes too much for most. I always see normies whining on reddit about how hard it is to buy it.

that dream is not going to happen soon..if at all.Buyers like it, Sellers hate it.

A drop in a bucket from PayPal's point of view or not even that. SMM is a small portion of internet marketing and internet marketing is a small portion of the online business.

Study this: https://www.paypal.com/stories/us/paypal-reports-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2019-results

PayPal is just getting stronger and stronger, it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
