Is ON site seo optimization important?


I had friend asking me to help them rank their site, but the site is not properly on-site optimized.

No proper header tag, no strong on main anchor, no alt etc. page title


But with backlinks, are they still able to rank to page 1? even if the page is not having that keyword.

Anyone got any view?

Yes it is mandatory. It's hard to rank top without Onpage optimization

Yes yes yes! It's one of the most important aspects now, I shit you not good onsite alone can do miraculous things.

Onsite SEO is the first thing I do for a client before any other activity as, without that, they can spend all kinds of money on backlinks and not get the desired results.

That friend would be best served cleaning that up BEFORE he spends anything (time or money) at all on backlinks.

Very important. Think 50% of the entire SEO campaign. It's the first thing I do with my niche sites.

You are one year here and you are asking this question...I was expecting a newbie to ask this.

You can rank without proper on-page seo but not on top of the search and it its a medium or hard KW forget about ranking even in top 30.

There is no question that on-page seo is absolutely mandatory.
Someone creating backlinks for you may show some improvement in SERP rankings, but it's like trying to win a race with one leg tied behind your back.

If you want to get and HOLD rankings, you have to make SURE you take care of BOTH onsite AND offsite SEO, simply because your competitors are do it.

Which means you'll likely not get #1 on page #1...

Don't get lazy. Do the onpage seo....if it's hard, get someone to help you with it.

Don't ignore it....

Just Do It

Yes I did on site optimization . Thats why I am ranking for more than 10 keywords on the top
