Is Myspace still relevant?

to be honest in my opinion myspace & facebook are not relevant. No one really gets on facebook anymore.

I miss the old Myspace, but it's just not the same, reason why I'm on Facebook is because all my friends are on it, hardly any of my friends are on the new Myspace so it's pretty much dead for me. I wouldn't recommend Myspace for IM though.

Myspace really is a has been, in the end it became flooded with controversy (as it was the media's first taste of Social Networking) and fell off shortly after that, it was also not as "user friendly" as Facebook, but for bands and music is it much better, I don't have any interest on migrating back though.

I disagree with the sentiment that Myspace is a thing of the past!

The Old Myspace sucked... it was nothing more than a placeholder for your picture and name really. The new Myspace is a great way to drive traffic for artists of any kind (Especially visual art) towards your site, itunes account, soundcloud, flicker etc etc etc...

I'd just see it as part of the whole Social Media Platform package that you can use. I've used it for ORM a few times and I find the results great for a simple and easy to use platform!

Many people still get on Facebook these days, although teens have more recently migrated over to other, new hip websites like Pinterest, Tumblr, and Instagram.

There's many competitor out there, myspace might be side-lined long time

There is nothing worth doing on myspace, unless you have something to do with music.

Myspace became useless and it'll be destroyed after a few months if it'll not comeback.
I don't think it'll start competing other social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
