Day by day MySpace users are decreases so still Myspace is trusted to get traffic?

As of today...Myspace rank 400 globally I guess with that rank there're still lots of people there. Then probably with good interaction with people there can still generate traffic to your site,

Most of those people are probably foreign or bots :/

Myspace isn't so good for IM, and I don't think it ever was (maybe like 5-7 years ago?)

Facebook, Twitter, and probably Tumblr is your best bet.

But, who knows, you could find a super secret ultra 5 million dollar method using myspace.

as far as there traffic there are millions of abandoned pages there with peoples names on them. search for names of some of your friends and you may find their old myspace pages. this is why their traffic is still coming. have you seen the new layout? its disgusting.. i honestly wouldn't try it for a traffic source at all.

there are many user in my space till yet who are using this one . so according to me myspace is still useful for getting ranking.

It's not as beneficial as other platforms. But still you cant say that it's completely useless.

I think any social network has value if you put the effort in, by MySpace has definitely lost its shine. Not sure exactly why, I guess facebook had a better social network model?

Is this a serious questions in 2013? Myspace is primarily geared towards the music industry now. Unless your niche is related, it'll probably be more profitable for you to target another active platform. I suggest doing market research on where your target audience uses social media, whether it's Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, then figure out how to engage them there.

Myspace is still very much alive, i am just worried that it is beginning to look more like a portfolio hosting site

Does Myspace actually still have its own traffic?

If you are going for the music niche then MySpace would be good for you.

I feel that if there were enough on myspace to see what you have to offer, then you might get some good traffic. However, I surely would not concentrate on myspace just for traffic alone. I would mix it up with other social networks.

myspace is kind of like a dying star go for maybe facebook, twitter, maybe youtube instead/

I seriously doubt it gets significant traffic, maybe you should try Friendster instead?
