At 20k you most likely wont have many people interested in buying shoutouts because its just too small of an account. I'm not saying you can't achieve your goal though. I just think the majority of your money will come from you reaching out to potential customers as opposed to them contacting you. So that's an extra workload as well. 5 bucks for 20k is a decent deal as long as you have 3-5% engagement. So I could see your plan working out for you but you will most likely have to go out and find those customers.

How many visitors do you expect from a shoutout on one of those 20k follower accounts?

Just calculate the CPM for the buyer by dividing by U$ 5.

It is exactly true if you cannot execute and convert = no demand, or maybe you don't have the skills to convert them.

Stop focusing on people who don't want your service, focus on the people who did.

Many small local businesses have a website/ Facebook/ Twitter/ Instagram it doesn't mean they understand the value prop of paying someone to promote them.

Why pay you when they can send 1000's of flyers through peoples letter box?

nah the fake follower thing killed it, just look on fiverr 100s of gigs offering this, but hardly any orders. if every tweet is getting x amount of retweets and likes then maybe. but doubt it with only 20k.

Depends what you are selling..

Put in the work, find out who is successful at what you want to do, then study how they market themselves.
