I want to build 100 accs at +20k followers.
Then I will want to charge $5/shoutout, which it means $500 per day :D
How is $5/shoutout for a 20k acc? Good/Cheap/Normal price?

Well it's fine as long as you can find 100 people every day who don't really care whether all your followers are fake or not.

Would it not be hard to manage in terms of email communication with brands/ bloggers that are buying shoutouts? A lot of niche pages have different emails in bio's for most accounts, so you would have to manage a lot of emails from buyers?

$5 is very reasonable for most niches, bare in mind you will probably be selling to small startup ecommerce websites so their profits won't be huge. You should consider selling 1 shoutout for $8/ or 10 for $50 to each prospective client.

Also what niche? if it is a niche with not much competition but high demand for shoutouts you could raise your price. If you have multiple accounts in the same niche you should offer deals such as shoutouts over 5 of your same niche pages for a cut price, that way you generate more cash with less effort.

Best of luck man! :)

You will need to bring in a few friends to work with you or you're gonna have sleepless nights. And then there comes the issues with proxies and phone numbers to verify the accounts.

Thanks Dbeck19 for the idea :D

I have a friend in Holland who sells between 20-30 shoutouts a day (all different brands/ bloggers as he doesn't advertise the same accounts multiple times a day) on 1 account for around $25 each, the account is not huge and only has 2-4k likes per picture.

That's why I'm focused more on building in the right niches where I know I can find 100's prospective clients easily.

What I'd recommend you do is find accounts similar to the ones your building, and list all brands/ bloggers that have paid for shoutouts in the last several weeks, so that you have a long list of prospects ready for when you reach 20k

Good luck :D

If the followers are real, i can say $5 it's cheap for a shoutout. There are thousands of customers out there willing to pay that amount for a shoutout.
I wish you best luck in your journey mate and hopefully someday we will meet and drink a beer :)

Here's how I see it working:

All you need to do is to code/order a special submit form. At the submit form in drop down menu you can list all accounts you have with their followers. When buyer click on account from the drop down menu, second option need to appear: shoutout for 1 hour, 12 hours, 24h, permament...etc.,etc.. After that in text box he need to write the caption he wants, this text box should be "required", that mean the buyer can't submit his order, before he fills that ( "Required" should be for every single option in this form. ) After he write his caption, he need to upload image(s) and at the end Submit button. So the one who will code your submit form, need to make it simple: if someone choose "car account - 48k followers" this order must be forwarded to mail that is for this particular account. I just give you a basic idea. My submit form was much more complicated when I was doing something similar, it can be done.

good luck =)

i have 9500 real followers for a local city.
i ask for $10 for a shoutout, and got nothing?

bad niche?!

my niche is local city events. quite a few people email me their events. i reply with my shoutout pricing ($10 permanent) - no replies. some others DM me or "took a photo of me", i replied, same thing...?

my like count ranges from 150-300, maybe not so high, but it's local. compare to other local accounts, it's not a bad engagement rate.

should I DM potential customer proactively?

i dont see email as a problem. why not just forwarding all emails to 1 master email account?

Nice idea , create a manage plan first and start the accounts. Plus you got the proxies and the phone verifications.

There is no demand for your services (to put it bluntly).

Most local businesses/ small business owners don't understand the value prop of Instagram, focus on building accounts which will be in demand due to quality content, which will build brands awareness and sales.

BigTroll don't listen to the naysayers. Can it work? Sure. Is it going to be a lot of work? Yes. Is $500+ a day potential worth at least testing this model? You bet your *expletive deleted*! I might try to manage a smaller account set starting out though, but if you have the resources to mass manage the accounts - it's a no-brainer to run this test, which I imagine may not hit your expected output levels, but could easily still be very rewarding as a learning AND earning experience.

Its possible but not scalable if you want to do it alone. You will need to automate a lot of processes which will require investing $$$.

Also consider this, its always easier to grow 1-2 large accounts than 20-30 small ones on autopilot. Your exposure is just that much more with large accounts.

good luck!

^^ Not always true. Built up to about 650k followers spread out many accounts over a period of 2.5 months or so now.
I believe that this is more valuable than 2-3 accounts with like 100k+ each. Instead of a general niche i have many smaller very targeted niches.
Example, women's fashion niche -> women's shoes -> heels -> dresses -> yogapants, etc.

OP, i'm basically doing the same idea as you except bigger, have about 110 that im keeping, and going to add another 60-80, and instead of doing shoutouts, i will monetize each with just affiliate products, CPA offers, and for the bigger and better engagement accounts, i will build shopify for each and add products related to niche.
If just each account brings in $1-3/day it will be total $170-$300/day

Yes, but it's more safe to build 20-30, instead of 1-2. What if your acc will be banned? You will have nothing, after 2-3 months of working..
