im not gunna make fun of you like everybody else here(LOL) because i know wat it is to have a sick parent. no joking matter. good luck to your father. i wish him the best health wise and show him some examples of common scams spicifically that one so he can get over it.

I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but am pretty sure Selina Sharnel Appiah is not her real name

Just get your buddy to call him acting as a FBI agent or something saying "we've noticed that you have been in contact with someone claiming to be this girl.." Make it sound legit by trying to get the information from him to "further their investigation" and tell him not to have any more contact with this person.

This is not a bad idea if you want to help your father.

You must be having at least 5-6 email ids you use, fine? Or 3 atleast? Goto Spam folder and tell your dad to read all the shit to understand what the heck is going on with these emails. Yea, I know this can be problematic when parents don't understand the evils in cyberspace but let him have a look at every other scam thats happening.

Sit Dad in a chair and bring him to BHW and say,
"Dad, this is my favorite place to hang out, these are my amigos
and THIS....is a Ewhore Thread. :o Understand now?"

oh frick, my parents just sent $5k to someone who was going to deliver a car, they just dont understand the internet. it doesnt mean they are stupid, it just means they are ignorant of internet stuff, i hope your dad doesnt do this.

Alright, my dad is older than yours and I like to look out for him too so here is an idea

Make a few fake email accounts and email your dad, make sure at least one or two of them are pretty much the same as the emails the scammer sent. "I'm a princess from India and my Father, the King, has money for the love of my life", vary it a little but make sure it's the same basic scam.

Then, when he reads them, you can use those emails as proof "Dad, look, you've got the same damn email from 5 different people, it's obviously a scam!"

It's like scamming your dad for his own good lol
