Is multiple 301 Redirections to various subfolders in a site allowed by Google?. I initially posted this in a different thread : http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-will-hurt-my-search-engine-optimization.html But I think some people are confused. I have rewrote my original questions completely so that you guys will have a better idea of what I mean. I have say, ProductReviews dot com and want to "acquire other people sites that already have existing traffic and backlinks" ... say: printer dot com , microwave dot com and treadmill dot com and do permanent redirections to subfolders in ProductReviews dot com i.e. ProductReviews dot com/printer ProductReviews dot com/microwave ProductReviews dot com/treadmill Furthermore, I also may want to buy some blogger.com/blogspot sites that already have existing traffic and backlinks and redirect those sites to sub folders in mygadget dot com i.e. scanner.blogspot.com redirect to ProductReviews dot com/scanner tablet.blogspot.com redirect to ProductReviews dot com/tablet - Can this be done?. Will this hurt or help the SEO of ProductReviews dot com ? - At maximum, how many sites can redirect to ProductReviews dot com ? Will subfolder ProductReviews dot com/printer inherit all keyword rankings of printer dot com ? Will subfolder ProductReviews dot com/microwave inherit all keyword rankings of microwave dot com ? Will subfolder ProductReviews dot com/treadmill inherit all keyword rankings of treadmill dot com ? Will subfolder ProductReviews dot com/scanner inherit all keyword rankings of scanner.blogspot.com? Will subfolder ProductReviews dot com/tablet inherit all keyword rankings of tablet.blogspot.com? WHY I WANT TO DO THIS ====================== - ProductReviews dot com is a new site and "I need to acquire smaller sites that already have existing traffic and backlinks" so that I can get traffic fast - To gain trust rank from Google fast.
I'll bump this for you. Something similar to this could also be used to collapse multiple domains into 1 and at least used to work crazy well for ranking sites.
Essentially, you'll be buying authority to your large site, correct? If you plan to buy existing ranking pages, you'll want to make sure that the content you redirect to is good enough to rank. I'm not sure you can hit the same position by a 301, but it would surely give a good head start with SEO. I like your plan!
Hi, Your Plan will work, You can redirect any number of pages to your money site, it won't affect your seo. It will be much better, if you redirect each page separately to your website. I mean, scanner.blogspot.com/hp-scanner redirect to ProductReviews.com/scanner/hp microwavereviews.com/breville redirected to ProductReviews.com/microwave/breville
I have just got a 11 year old domain with lots of links and was thinking about doing the same thing will go a head now
Well there is probably a simple trick that you can spoof the details of the page so it would probably not understand that it re-directs the bot on a different page. think and act
I am going to buy 2 small sites every month and redirect all the pages to the mother site. 2 sites per month redirected to mother site. Is this okay with Google or too many?
