    Looks like he got all his cars and expensive electronics back as well as megaupload data! YAAAAAY

    [h=1]Kim Dotcom announces MegaUpload comeback[/h]

    Kim Dotcom has announced the return of MegaUpload.
    MegaUpload boss, Kim Dotcom, has announced via his Twitter account that his file locker empire will be making a comeback.
    SOPA is dead. PIPA is dead. ACTA is dead. MEGA will return. Bigger. Better. Faster. Free of charge & shielded from attacks. Evolution!

    This comes after much controversy between him and the New Zealand/U.S. Governments. There are no further details yet about how he plans to make his comeback, but we figure he has found loopholes in copyright laws in different countries to run his company. For those hoping to recover files lost in the raid, there is no mention yet as to how past users will be assisted.
    Over the past few months, Kim Dotcom has turned from villian to what people are now calling the ?Internet Freedom Fighter? after MegaUpload was shut down under a number of questionable circumstances. He and his band of men are facing charges for copyright infringement, but the U.S. has yet to extradite him after Dotcom?s lawyers were able to punch a number of holes in the investigation.
    Some questionable actions included the seizure of a number of unrelated assets include his fleet of Mercedes Benzs, a helicopter, and a number of expensive pieces of technological equipment. New Zealand?s Court Judge, Justice Helen Winkelmann has since ruled that those items must be returned since they have no relation to the matter. She also stated that cloning hard drives and shipping them to the U.S. without permission was also illegal and called the admissibility of the evidence in later extradition hearings into question.
    So what does Kim have planned up his sleeve? We shall wait and see.

    When he was first arrested, I thought he must have done something really criminal. But after all the details and revelations emerged, it seems like the US government really screwed up in this case. More power to Kim.

    Good luck to the guy as he got busted on trumped up charges that were only ever going to stick in an unjust US Law Court!

    Hope Kim DotCom comes back bigger than ever

    Can't wait for the movie of the Kim Dotcom story. Bet it gets shared on DropBox & authorities illegally raid them too. That'd be ironic.

    Do you think filesonic, fileserve and wupload will revert to their old pubic file sharing system after megaupload returns?

    Why is he being labeled a Internet Freedom Fighter? He is the kind of person that would support a law like ACTA right now if the right way to make money popped into his head.

    Sounds like you're thinking like the government, accusing somebody of something without proof.
