Is Link Building Dead?

The day linkbuilding is dead is a day we all face a brand new opportunity with what replaces it so what's the big deal.If you aren't using scrapebox everyday then you don't know how to use it,it's pretty much that simple.Google is against linkbuilding period so what's bloody new.I sincerely hope your thread was meant to be sarcastic or you'd be as well start cleaning those dishes in that restaurant down the road, you know the one I mean!(Sarcasm!)

Link building is dead. Please stop doing it and sell your sites to me for a penny, then go apply for a job at McDonald's. Thank you kindly.

.... seems legit. Where do I send them?

How is spam link building dead? Do people come here and just talk about things they have no clue about?

focus on quality links and you will be fine.
dont worry about updates, if you do it right you will survive on updates.

yes link building is dead,
we all are doing timepass here,
here we just refresh our memories of link building that were working years ago

Content becomes first but LinkBuilding is a traditionally way for SEO and Google still have SEO.

Do it neat... Scrapebox may not always be the answer... Use private networks... Use original content...
People believe this is dead as some sites got penalized and so they stopped completely... It's still doing better than anything else

Do you honestly think that moving forward google is gonna see a link from a crappy article directory, wiki, blog, comment, or any other low quality platform as an accurate reflection of where a site should be, when it's clear as day that these links have been produced with the sole purpose of boosting a websites ranking, or are they gonna see them for what they are.. a source for "manipulating rankings"?

Do you think in googles eyes a link from these type platforms should carry the same weight as a link from a real moderated website?

Do you think they're collecting that big old collection of disavowed data just to look and point at it and laugh at it or something?

Or would so far fetched to think that they're actually clever enough to recognize these spammy platforms now and either devalue or penalize the links they find on them?

There's more to blackhat linkbuilding than spamming low quality platforms, but if you wanna keep on believing that this is the way forward, no problem, that's your opinion, i have my own blackhat linkbuilding methods that are working just fine.

Write a book sir.

The question was if spamlinkbuilding worked or not. The truth is it still does work.

links you get to your site must look like genuine links. Like manually added links from human moderated respectful blogs, corresponding with yoursite, for example. Not like robotically added links from abadonned spammy blogs with thousands outbound links to viagra sites.

Yep. Link building is dying every now and then..
Thank God there are members on this board that resurrect link building every time someone is freaking out.

Business and Fear(aka Google) = Bad Business and Bad Nerves

Don't get results without link building. It's how you build the links that matter

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Good luck in anything other than the softest niches with content alone.
Try it if you like - and in a years time I'll ask you to pack my bag for me down at the local Hypermart when you've gone broke.

Scritty
