Is learning WordPress worth it right now?

I know WordPress very well, and many people have asking me to teach them Wordpress.

However, with AI rapidly advancing and impacting so many areas, I believe it's more important to focus on learning AI right now, which is exactly what I'm doing.

What do you think?

WordPress is still valuable, especially for building and managing websites, but combining it with AI skills can really set you apart. AI tools can streamline content creation, automate tasks, and improve user experience. So learning both gives you a strong edge in today’s digital world
 
wordpress will not dissapear over night . You can make an website now with AI but each website need customization and need a human to do it although in future things may change. Learn also AI as is suppose to help profesionals do the jobs faster
 
Both skills are valuable WordPress still powers much of the web, while AI is shaping the future. If you can, balance both: use your WordPress expertise now, while steadily building AI skills for long-term opportunities.

I myself am a wordpress developer and i agree with you someways that AI is rapidly growing .
But instead of shifting towards AI completely i am now getting help from AI with my development projects which are making my process easier (They are like helping agents to me) .

Wordpress is not going anywhere , so be the best in wordpress
There will always be the place for the bests .

WordPress is easy to learn. It's a small framework-CMS.
Making money with WordPress is harder as you need to sell and serve clients.
But making sites on WordPress can be a breeze. Prepare to be hacked though because wordpress is a common target of hackers.
 
Its still worth it yes..

AI can teach people, but it cant help you customize on its own. There will still be demand for Wordpress designers at least for next 5 years.

Doesn't mean nothing will, but that shouldn't stop you from learning a skill or trade
else you just learn nothing at all, since nothing last.
 
Today, I'm looking at the WordPress themes on my dashboard. It's horrible. It gives me eye cancer. It often looks like the elements don't fit together; nothing is harmonious, nothing is aesthetically pleasing, get headache. Do I have a blurry mind today, be in a blackout or time shift ?

Squarespace themes , on the other hand, are in harmony and aesthetical.

Depends what your business plan or overall ideas are. Wordpress and AI are both tools, not complete strategies. You may well need both.
