Is it wise to buy targeted traffic?

The thread starter made this topic in 2011. But there are still recent comments popping up on this thread. So the question is, does buying targeted traffic still work today? The short answer is yes. It still works, but it would depend on where you buy your traffic. For me, I go to proven sites like Webtrafficgeeks.com, Fiverr and Revisitors.com. Nothing beats experience and those 3 have given me great results when it comes to targeted traffic.

Buying traffic in general is not a wise idea, even if the traffic is 'targeted'. There are many ways you can get your site in front of people who are interested in what you have to offer, without paying for it. This forum is filled with techniques on doing just this.
 
There're different types of (or quality) of traffic, search traffic, banner traffic. It's a good idea to buy targeted traffic if the quality is good.

I would search for some of the top providers and do your research. Buying web traffic will have its benefits but really only works in a select amount if niches.

Traffic from fiverr? can advice any seller? i know that 99% from fiverr is bot traffic.

Personally i have no time to do this job, so i'm looking to buy traffic
 
If you would want to but targeted traffic I think that you should find an online advertising company like Bluagile that has their own self-serve RTB where you can bid at your desired rate and but targeted traffic.
 
that's surely very low quality and non targeted traffic !
no one can provide 50K targeted VISITORS for just 59 bucks !
 
If you get from the right sources, the why not. But could get quite expensive.
 
I've had some success with target traffic but not nearly as much as putting money into keyword link building.
 
paying for good traffic can actually cost you more than that and I believe that in the long run it might give you good returns. But you could just do it yourself, promote your product or business in social media and if you have good service it could bring good traffic. Payed traffic if not of good quality can be so disapointing in case you dont see the results that's why am advising you to use other methods.All the best as you find the best solution. thanks
 
yeah the low cost stuff will just be a triangle traffic scheme, people signing other people up to visit websites for pennies a time
