Is it smart to buy backlinks from the web?

I've never have bought backlinks so I would like to know if this will be smart or not? And how is the best way to buy backlinks, I mean, should I buy diverse backlinks (web 2.0, comments, wiki, anchor or naked links)?

Since you have never bought any links to your site, I suggest you to start learning about building links in general and then start working once you get it.

You always need to diversify the link building campaign for your website. You can start off with social signals, web 2.0 and then slowly move on to building some niche relevant guest posts.

Make sure you are doing it with quality articles and the link placement should also look natural.

I'm doing that manually. I know a lot about SEO but I wanted to know is it smart to buy backlinks from web to make my job easier because I don't know how would I make for example 100 do follow wiki backlinks.
