I would say it safe if you do it right but make your unique content by do it manually or hire someone is good for long term

Definitely replace the copied content; it may be ranking now, but it won't be after G penalizes you.

Well, let's think logically. You're asking if you should do something with the duplicate content that ranks good in some terms. You know that Google will penalize you for duplicate content sooner or later. What are we talking about then? No doubts that you should rewrite or better to replace it with unique content. Just logic, pal))

My question: how did you find out that the content is copied? If you find the same by pasting some content in Google seach there's a possibility that the result you got may be the real duplicate content and the content your site has is actually original!
Also if the content on your site is actually duplicate; then make it unique; don't rewrite the same. This can decrease the ranking but at least your site won't get penalized in future because of duplicate content!

I'd like to know the same.
I rewrite content for my Tier 1 in my own words but I make sure that it turns up 100% unique in Copyscape.
I guess as long as the content is totally unique there shouldn't be a problem.

With so many articles being written on same targeted topic, what do you expect, every article gonna write different facts about the same thing..? I think some similarity will be there, and in that case not sure how google will react to it.

just rewrite it, it's fine I do it all the time.
And just on a note when big G's bots/spiders "reads" or looks at content an evaluate it it looks at everything not just the article also images and other youtube embeds and what other sort of media you can think of.
Offcourse if an article is word for word copied from another site it's bad but the page won't get penalized in reality, it will only (at most times) rank below the original article, if big G spots two identical articles they try to determen witch is the most relevant for the searcher, and often the original wins, that is again if they are exact duplicates.

owning some software which can help you rewrite content spinnerchief automatically is nice, because there will be left much time for you to do another things, even if some one maybe say that the content produced by the software is no so good, but i do not think that all the software is just like this, besides, if you think that the content is not much so good as you think, you can change it, it will not waste so much time for you, have a try, so many people use it, so you also deserve it
