I have a guy willing to sell to me a twitter account with 70k followers in same niche and location with one of my brands (Online Food Directory) for $500, is it a good move or is way too expensive (thats what i thought tho, lol)
    Your own views pls...
    :)

Check that twitter account analytics and you can decide it whether it helps you or not

Checking the account analytic will help you make a better judgement.

Ask for screenshots of the last 10-15 tweets, but $500 seems a bit high for 70K unless it's really active

Unless you tell us the account then you're not going to get any credible answers.

I agree, if the account is active and the followers are legit, then its totally worth it.
You should use some of the tools that were mentioned above to check all of this, and if you can get access to the analytics of the account that can also be helpful.

70k real and active followers for 500 $ are totally worth it if you ask me,that's great actually
Anyway check the analytics and make sure that he will not lie to you,he may receive the money and don't give the needed information

Yes, totally worth it if those followers are real and active. BUT keep in mind it's extremely easy to build an account like that with fake followers.

So you need to check - look at recent tweets, look for interaction, assess some of the accounts that are interacting and the followers.

Maybe ask to post your own tweet on the account so you can better gauge the interaction.
