Is It Possible To Rank Spun Content?

nice design and some social locker/time locker and you have your bounce rate at desired level..
Either way visitors go to websites because of the content. I still think no matter how the design looks, the bounce rate will be high as no one will barely get to the second paragraph as the content wont make any sense.

Yes, you can rank with spun content for tier 2 and well-written content for tier 1!

I would like to follow the theory that if you can get 20 or so niche relevant posts ranking in the top 100 on google to link to your page, then that page should rank in the top 10 on google.

Has anyone tried this with spun content?

If I buy 20 PBN posts that are spun, will I be able to rank those posts in the top 100 on google?

I got some to rank in 30-50. they were spun. but not all of those sites.

This is one of the reasons guest posts in REAL sites work extremely well for this, they will rank naturally for keywords in top 100 and if they don't, you can easily force them to rank. They will gain Tier 2 links naturally over time, so you don't have to worry about boosting your backlinks. Remember, these are REAL sites with real visitors run by other webmasters who most probably have the same goal as you: to get traffic and make money. When you buy 1 of these links, it's like you built 10 super web 2.0-s (as I define them) each with a Tier 2 backlink profile.

The drawback? They are much more expensive and most importantly harder to acquire. You need social skills more than you do analytical ones. But they are well worth it. Your competitors that use shitty 1-page PBN-s won't be able to keep up the pace with you. That's because they need quite a few more times PBN links to outrank you. The power you get from a PBN link is nothing compared to the one you get from a guest post, especially if your network consists of sites with 15-30 RD-s and low PR (internal page rank). To take these PBN links to another level would require almost the same effort you put on the money site, if not more, which makes absolutely no freaking sense financially unless you don't care about money and are just experimenting..

great source as always.
as to the price, there are NOT that expensive as everyone thinks.you can get HQ quality sites on DR50+,RD1000k sites for often 100$ a piece, written for you.
I can only imagine, how many "PBN posts" that would need, with all the "deindexatoin, expiring and annoying seller behaviour"...
and in return, you would need to put articles on your frontpage with your own PBN......

the last months, I tested a ton of linking stuff. and the more I test and evualate, the more it gets to me: it is one way or the other the same price, ONE you VALUE your OWN time with a high price tag!

so rather spend wisely.

You can rank with Spun contents obviously. But mostly it will be used to maintain the Backlink counts. When you use 10 HQ unique contents, you will get some good ranking movements, same time, in case of spun posts, you need to use 50 links to get then same result. Though, it should at least be 95% unique and readable, if you prefer spun.

U can rank anything in the world, but u gonna need more and more bl's

A) It depends on the niche, it may well be possible... but

B) Just to be future-proof, I'd recommend manual content on all T1. If you want to use unique spun content on T2 that's safer than T1 in my book.

I'm guessing you are basing it of this thread. In my opinion its the best thread I have ever read on BHW and is exactly what I used to do. I plan to do it again but use different link types for the different tiers.

Let's not forget that that thread if from 2014, and Google has got a LOT better about spotting spun content since then. My thought on spun content is this... if you can afford to NOT use it, and still profit well then you should avoid it. If your profit margins dictate you have to use it then you have no choice. And IMHO if your chosen niche has so little ROI that you can't afford $3-$7 per article for T1 then you might want to reconsider your choice of niche. But as I said, in lower tiers, spun has its place.

cmon dude.
analyze top 10 serps for some "hack niche" stuff, and you wont find any non spun stuff there. som much for "google has got better....."
it's just a matter of time

MattCutts ban these sites anyway

I have had identical content and ranked. Spun content also on an Alexa 10k site.

I was thinking this could have been a cause of losing so much of my stuff over the past few month but a fair amount of the links that are still alive are still indexed in Google with spin content. To me that says Google can't detect it else they wouldn't index it, just my personal opinion. The concept of the thread is still solid in my opinion just moving its concept off a T1 made of SER to a T1s made manually or with RX to see what happens as the links stick. The stuff I have thrown up so far on my new projects seems to be indexing ok so far with spun content.

Same thoughts.

Pretty sure Matt Cutts works for the US Digital Service now, not Google.

No, no you're right... in some niches it still goes. It just depends. I've never been lucky enough to get into a niche where it's quite like the hack or warez niches... but your point is valid. I would say, however, that EVENTUALLY Google will even crack down on those niches the way they have in many of the niches I'm in. It may not be this year, heck maybe not even next... but eventually. This is just my personal feeling, based on the general directions of things I've seen. I've been burned before by not "future proofing" my link building and I never want to have that happen again.
