Hello Everyone,
I have been using LinkedIn for 4-5 years. But I didn't post regularly on LinkedIn. But now it is possible to get traffic and organic client throw Linkedin. Now, is it possible with that old account, or do I have to use a fresh account?

Help me as much as you can.

Thank you in advance.

Yes, obviously you can do that with your old account. LinkedIn is made for connecting, post about your work and reach out to people simply.

Old LinkedIn account works fine, just start consistent posting and engagement daily.

LinkedIn is performing very well nowadays. It’s a platform where business owners and highly educated professionals are actively present. Therefore, you can absolutely find customers on LinkedIn if your niche fits the platform.

Linkedin is still a great resource for lead generation if you know how to play around. Staying in the current trend is important, old methods are outdated.

Also, don't start with a salesy approach. Offer value > engage with the people you want to target > DM and connect > convert.

I think u shouldn't create a new account for this. Ur old LinkedIn account with high traffic is better

Yes if you are posting consistently..
But I recommend you take a look at Sales Navigator if you are serious about outreach.

yes you can get potential clients from there just start posting your services also i'd suggest you buy sales navigator

I saw old account where individuals start using their old accounts and maintain them properly. it is not needed to create new account, you can just use your old account, be active, post and enagage daily with people, update your profile.

You don’t need a new account at all your old one is actually an advantage.

If your profile is already a few years old, it likely has some connections, history, and trust built in. LinkedIn doesn’t penalize inactive accounts, so you can absolutely start fresh on the same profile.

What matters now is consistency and positioning:

  • Start posting regularly (2–3 times a week is enough)
  • Optimize your profile (clear niche, headline, services)
  • Engage with others (comments bring more reach than posts sometimes)
  • Share value, not just selling

Within a few weeks of consistency, your account will “wake up” again and start getting reach.

So don’t overthink it just restart, stay consistent, and you’ll start seeing results

LinkedIn is one of the best platforms to find clients specially if you are have a good product to sell

Just start posting and find other peoples who like to engage about their work and start connecting with them. This is how collaboration normally can start

A bunch of my friends are quite active on LinkedIn and they know how to network well. At the end of the day, it's *the* business platform to be on if you're aiming for budget holders.

So yes, you can land clients, but only if you know how to approach it.

The old "Sir, hello sir, I have links for you dear" doesn't work anymore.

You can definitely use your old account, In fact aged accounts usually have more trust than new ones. Just start posting consistently and engaging again it may take a little time to pick up

You theoretically can. But from my experience Linkedin is majorly populated by two kinds of people

1. People who are sellers themselves and will hardly buy
2. People who are employees somewhere and don't have buying authority

The actual decision makers are very less from what I have seen
