total newbie here, im trying to copy the jquery slider from this site
Code:
acme.in
it seems to be a paid jquery, themepunch revolution slider.
so will i land in trouble if i copied the slider from there and used it in my site, i already got it to work on localhost?
thank you in advance.

You answered your own question.First off it is paid, so it is illegal to copy it.
Will you get in trouble? It is hard to tell. You might be one of the lucky person who will get away with it or the one who gets busted.

will it be fine if i paid for the jquery to themepunch?
i just cant find a slider like this in their site....maybe its a custom modified slider?
just so confused. :(

Unless the code sends a signal to someone letting them know you are using the code you will be fine.

The odds of someone finding you is pretty slim but I have no idea what jquery is :)

I would rather buy that one and sleep nicely.I am not saying that i never used copied or cracked items, but most of the time if i liked the product i purchased it myself so i could get updates later on.These plugins are not so expensive that we can't buy them...but again, for a person who is just starting a business/website every little dollar counts.

The chances that you are going to get caught is slim.

That slider is offered free with dozens of WordPress/WooCommerce themes. Just pick up a high quality theme and you'll have it.

but im not using wordpress(never used it either). im trying to use it in native html. im coding the page from scratch.

1. It is purchased, hence license will be there.
2. you cannot use it, it will result in problems for you.
3. If you want to use, then check all the code. 90% scripts send the logs.
Eliminate that part and enjoy :)

PS : I USE 3rd step often :D

We are talking about some library here so just take what you want and never look back.

Anything that is paid I would not attempt to copy. As to whether you will get into trouble if you did I guess that would depend on if you got caught and how the original owner decided to deal with it.

Everything is legal until you get caught :)
