I second this. If you are using automated Link building tools for Tier Ones I wont recommend it. But if you are using them for link juice and a boost to your lower tiers, it's preferable to use automated tools

Well it depend's upon the type of tool and way How you are using those tool's...

It seems like SEO automation becomes near to useless and useless every day.
Of course we can still use bots for creating accounts, or some simple tasks.
But if speaking about content or link building, only manual link building is actual nowadays.

Nowadays automation is possible in all fields but I think its not so good in case of SEO. Contents made by an automation tool wont be original it may be extracted from any of the contents that were available earlier. I trust in manual SEO alone....
