I think bitcoin one day will be 100k but no one knows when and if really it will happen, just my thoughts.

Do you think it is worth to invest $5k? Or you think there are better ways to invest 5k?

Now is a good time it seems... If the same thing happens again like it has in the past, it'll increase in the months after the halving.

If you do not need this money - invest.
Right now, the price is good for bitcoin.

In 2011, you had to buy bitcoin for 5k dollars; 5 dollars were now millionaires.

I had 3 bitcoins when the price of bitcoin was $230. Then i did the worst thing: I sold part of them and bought services. Now i regret these moves but anyways. I hope this gonna happens again in 1-2 years.

Don't invest more than you can't afford to lose, that's a universal law on investments you can't control.

If you have to ask then you shouldn't do it. If Bitcoin tanks, it's not a stranger taking the L, but you.

World Economy is seems good right now. You can invest. But it is not a good idea to invest more than 10% of your profit or source.because We can expect the cryptocurrency dramatic fall at any time.

I'd spread my risk and expand my portfolio.
Look at news events, alt coins etc.

A coin which goes from 5k to 6k is only 20% profit... a coin which goes from 10p to £3 is 30x profit...

It's almost always good time to invest in BTC if you will not touch it for few years.

If you have more than 5k, go for it, else work on what you know.

i sold 3 bitcoins when they were about 1200-1300 .... :D now i regret my desicion :)

If you can hold it for 5-10yrs it's a good investment,

Prices are going up and down, a couple of weeks ago it was over $10 then a couple of days ago went down to $8, right now it's something in between

I fixed this one for you.

Nobody knows the answer, and everything here is just a speculation (or opinion).
Bitcoin can be worth anything in one year time... Why not rather investing the money in your own business/website idea? Then you'll have at least some control over the outcome (with bitcoin you have none)

Man who knows if we knew we would prolly take loans, sell our stuff and buy BTC.
You say you believe Bitcoin shall be 100k one day, this is optimistic but it is pure speculation just like saying it'll be $1 in a year.
Now it's far from being all-time high so this is not the worst moment at least.
Just a friendly tip: don't do this solely to jump on the covid-19 hype train. Some people think it's going to instigate world economy collapse and end the fiat money era. This is bullshit.

Yes, but study the basics of technical analysis so you at least know where to buy in at. Don't just put all $5000 in at one sitting. You need to dollar cost average your way in. At the moment I would buy in at around $8500 and $7800.

I'm from the times that 1 Bitcoin cost $2000, and 1 Amazon share $650, right now Bitcoin cost almost $10 and Amazon almost $2000

This is not a mutual fund or stock market deal... dollar cost averaging suggestion is bad advice at best.

Crypto is Vegas... err low level Atlantic City gambling.

Don't do it, everyone is waiting to sell so its a down market. Just put your money in a low fee mutual fund, or an index fund.
