Is it even worth buying expired domains?

I found some old domains (2001-2006 year old) but they have like 10 backlinks.

It's worth to buy high quality expired domains.
Although, it takes a good amount of time and money to find some...
Don't expect to find the best apples in the bottom of the tree.

Old domains without great backlinks won't really give you much effect.

As long as if it has good backlinks then it would help. You can use them for redirecting to your site or you can build your own site or PBN.
