Is it better to make FB group private or public?

I think you should set your group to public, so more people will know and can join your group. If you set it to private, the recognition will not be popular, that's just my opinion.
 
But if you’re aiming for a more engaged community, a private group might work better. You can make money through promotions, featured posts, or even affiliate links.
 
It is recommended to make the group public so that outside members can still see what is discussed in the group. If they find the group useful, they will want to join.
