Hi everyone,
Is it allowed to use non copyrighted videos on youtube from this site https://www.pexels.com/
Thanks :)

read their license page before you even come here asking this.. https://www.pexels.com/photo-license/

and also if you using the non copyright video solely for your video with not much edit .. there will be trouble in YPP approval side...
I read it before but i was asking members from here if they tried it and had no problem.

lol if the website is saying there is no issue.. go with that.. because that's their word of mouth and the website seems like not some one person driven providing illegal images or something...

Okey , thanks for your comment

If you use videos as it is, it's not allowed. If you use them as part of your bigger project and make significant changes, then you are allowed to do so.

point me to the link from where you got this information?

I've been using their videos unedited in my youtube monatized channel and i never faced any issue with YT. I've been using their videos for a long time now in compilation manner but never faced any issues.

The following are the main requirements for using their material:

Here are some basic rules to follow when using Pexels content:

  • Identifiable people may not appear in a bad light or in a way that is offensive. This includes, for example, portraying people pictured engaging in criminal activities, suffering from a medical ailment, or in a pornographic context.
  • Don't sell unaltered copies of a photo, e.g. don't sell it as a stock photo, poster, print, or on a physical product without adding any value.
  • Don't imply endorsement of your product by people or brands on the image.
  • Don't redistribute or sell the photos on other stock photo or wallpaper platforms.
Hope it clarifies things.
